Sheikh, how is a woman allowed to wash a dead body but not allowed to go to burials or visit graves? Surely washing a body, especially a loved one, is more tramatic/emotional than visiting a grave. Women are not complete babies and there are many who can handle visiting graves especially if they know the rules in Islam of not being allowed to wail or create a shrine at the grave.

You should address the Prophet, peace be upon him, who gave us this directive. Using your own logic is not something recommended specially when a person does not have knowledge. It is like someone claiming that men wearing diamonds is prohibited because diamonds are more expensive than gold.

Certain ppl say unless your a mujtahid you HAVE to follow a madhab. Others say if you’re a student of knowledge you don’t have to. Question is; if I have access to Bukhari, Muslim, books like Riyad etc. And acces to sheikhs like yourself that can answer my questions do I have to follow a madhab or can do my own authentic research on issues of fiqh. we have a WhatsApp group where we encourage each other to pray tahajud. For five weeks we report when we get up for tahajud to encourage each other. After 5 weeks we stop and delete the group as then tahajud becomes a habit Alhamdulilah. Is this reporting for 5 weeks considered as riya?

I suffer from Irregular menses and pcos. I get spotting. So i’m very uncertain about when my menses would really come. If during spotting I have intercourse with my hubby and there is penetration. Does this count as a sin and how should we repent? After intercourse some few drops of blood came out. Apologies for being so graphic in my explanation.
