My father died almost 2 years ago, I’m the oldest one of my family and I have 2 brothers “8 and 18 years old ” and 2 sisters “16 and 21 years old ” ,Is it obligatory for me to spend on them?! Would I be sinful if I didn’t spend on them?! Notably, their pension is only 500Le because the rest of the pension goes to my step mom and half brother. Is it optional or obligatory?!

If you are financially able to, you must help the youngest and the girls (if they are not married) because if one of them dies, you will inherit them! This is an obligation upon you to provide for them.

Is it permissible to say khuda Hafiz or Allah Hafiz when posting away from one person instead of saying Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barkathahu.

‘Khuda..’ is not permissible. Allah Hafiz: This is not a Biddah as it is a supplication which is said when a person is bidding another farewell.

I would like to ask if it is permissible to have hyaloronic acid injected into the nose bridge to erase a rather small bump in the bone. The acid will be broken down within weeks be the body so it is not permanent. Also it doesn’t contain animal ingredients and the acid is naturally found in the human body. The amount used will be under 1ml.

If this bump is abnormal or a deformity, this is permissible as long as there is no harm on the individual.

Allah blessed me with a daughter age 4 year and a son new born! My question is that is it permitted to sacrifies haqiqah for z first and z second together? If yes is 2 goats or 2 sheep enough? And sacrifying one followed by z other or at once? Please clarify

You should have done your daughter’s aqeeqa long time ago. You should slaughter one sheep or goat for her and two for your newly born son.

My question is that if one needs to pay Zakat on the Property (plots, non agricultural land etc.) which is purchased for the intention of investment? e.g. I purchased a plot for X mount and then for next 5 years it remains with me so during all these years do i have to pay Zakat on this plot value?

If you bought it to sell it and it is displayed for sale so that you can sell it and buy another one and so on, the answer is yes: you must give zakat for every year that had passed, according to the market price at each year.

Sheikh Assim,my question to you is having accessories permissible in performing Salah? for example wearing a watch,bracelet etc. For years I’ve been praying while wearing a watch,is my Salah valid?

Your prayer is valid. What makes you doubt its validity? The Prophet salla Allahu alaihi sa sallam used to pray while wearing his ring!

Is it okay to perform wudu while wearing ring in his finger in case water doesn’t reach skin?
