Yes, a man can do this, but I personally advise not to go against the family on such matters as this may have serious consequences on the long run and the boy may either cut relations with his parents or divorce his innocent wife.

In surah Maidan verse 3 it says that we should not eat any food on which any other deities name is mentioned instead of Allah’s In India during harvest of rice,wheat, fruits and vegetables they offer puja (hindu prayers) in the name of the so called hindu gods (inauzo Billah). You have to offer the prostration of forgetfulness before Salam. However, if you did not offer it, the salah is valid.
