ANSWER: Saying Aaoozbillahi minash Shaitan nir rajeem is sufficient before starting to recite the Quran when you’re reading from in between a surah and you should not add Bismillah. When you’re starting a new surah, you should also add Bismillah…..except when reciting surah tawbah.

I belong to a Sunni family where we don’t follow dargah or murshad. Recently, my family came across a proposal where the guy is mehdavi (a group of people who believe that Imam Mehdi has arrived 700 years ago),his family believes in murshad, and they even have a mehdi masjid.
