If someone is telling a joke about Islam and I avoid listening him, but then I feel that he will feel bad if I don’t listen , so I listen to his joke. Am I in kufr of mocking islam?

After the death of my mother.my brother found some cash and gold from her belongings now he wants to donate all in charity for my parents without consent of other heirs and not giving any amount heirs .is his action is according to per islamic law of inheritence.

ANSWER: This is not permissible. The belongings are to be distributed among the heirs and he is not permitted to do anything with them without the consent of other heirs.

Before eating anything should we say bismillah wala barkatulla or bismillah only ?

2 weeks back you sent me a link to my previous question regarding major sins. The islamqa link mentioned 7 Major sins. So if there are only 7 major sins, the rest are classed as Minor? Such as backbiting, hitting someone etc. And these minor sins can be wept off through ablution and prayer right? Kindly let me know if there are any other sins apart from Major and Minor

ANSWER: The major sins are not only 7 but they are more likely to be 70 as Ibn Abbas said. A Major sin is any sin that Allah has set a prescribed punishment over or threatened the one who does it with hell fire or cursing and being deprived from His mercy.

I have asked a few scholars from the fiqh about witr prayers and the responses conflict. My question is if you pray Witr prayers after Isha and then wake up for Tahajjud, do you have to pray 1 rakat to even the Witr, then pray the Tahajjud prayer, followed by the Witr again? Some scholars say yes and others say no. I’m confused.
