I know an Islamic scholar who died recently and during his life he propagated things which would clearly account to Shirk and Biddah (like in one video, he claimed Sheikh Abdul Qader Jeelani could give life back to the dead). Can we make du’a for him or people like him. I know that Allah alone will judge him and the state in which he died, but is is allowed for us to make dua for him?

Ya Sheikh one of the Adkhar is the recitation of Subhana lahi wa bihamdihi 100 times, my question is if sometimes one doesn’t have much time & one reduces this number to less 100, and in another case if one increase it more than 100, is this a sin or an innovation? And can all the adhkars be recited while doing some activity like cooking, walking or driving?

Is this dua from an authentic hadith and am I able to recite it. 1484. Anas (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Prophet (PBUH) used to supplicate: “Allahumma inni a`udhu bika minal-barasi, wal-jununi, wal-judhami, wa sayyi’il-asqami’ (O Allah! is it a shirk or bidah to use tasbih to complete a zikr target set by me example 1000 times this and that .after i complete the target i still do zikr . But i simply wanted to make sure i complete my daily target of zikr

NO problem in using a  tasbeeh or counter but its preferable to use your fingers. There is no problem in setting particular target if you don’t believe it is sunnah or recommended as then it becomes a bid’ah.

Can we read the zikr of morning from the starting of the time of fajr until zuhr and the zikr of evening from the starting of the time of Asr until magrib or after magrib irrespective we read these before or after the fardh salat?
