QUESTION: Is it authentic that if someone sincerely makes dua to die as a martyr, Allah will grant him the reward of martyrdom even if he dies on his bed?

ANSWER: Yes. “Whoever asks Allah sincerely for martyrdom [Allahumma inni as’aluk ash-shahadah], Allah will cause him to reach the status of the martyrs even if he dies in his bed.” [‘Sahih al-Bukhari’; # 1909]

QUESTION: As per hadith reciting subhan allahi wabi hamdi reciting 100 times wipes all sins even it’s larger than sea foam. Does this includes skipped prayers too.

ANSWER: No. This includes only minor sins, major sins require separate repentance while showing deep remorse.

QUESTION: Is it permissible to say adhkār in night by lying on the bed? Should I sit and say adhkār?

QUESTION: Is there any significance in making any dhikir in even numbers like1 or 3 doing it for every dhikir which is not prescribed to do in such numbers an innovation?

ANSWER: 1 or 3 are not even numbers, they are odd numbers. You must stick to the prescribed numbers when it’s mentioned. If there are no numbers prescribed, you can do dhikr as many times as you wish, without a specific number.
