Does he who prays taraweeh; whatever he prays behind the imam or if he prays behind imam reciting a whole juz is it as if he gets the reward of reading that portion of the quran, will that be written classed as quran read for him in his record account?

Listening to the Quran is different to reading it. Both are rewarded but reading it is more rewardable.

You don’t raise your hands

I offer tahajjud prayers alone and want to make the prayer long so I read with a mushaf. However, i was wondering if i could read the quran from my ipad in sunnah salaah as it easier to do so as its lighter to hold and dont have to worry about flipping the pages

My husband bought me a new translation of the Nobel Quran. It is translated by Abdullah Yusuf Ali I don,t know this brother. I want to ask you If I can read this translation or not. My old one is from Saudie from Taqi deen al hilali from Madina Univercity. is this one better or the new one?

The second one is better than the first one. Yusuf Ali’s translation has a number of mistakes.

If the mistake is unintentional, Allah forgives that.

Sheikh, in Ch:15 V:87 its clear that Suratul Fatiha has seven verses then why people have different opinions on whether Basmalah is its verse or not?

This is due to whether the last two verses are counted as two when not including bismiallah or counted as on when including the basmalah.

Is it permissible for muslim women to read the Quran in public where women as well as men hear?
