sheikh, when doing sajda thilawa,is it compulsory to prostrate in the ground? Because i’m in my late stage of pregnancy its very difficult to prostrate in the ground..so can i keep my forhead wherever i sit and recite..for example if i sit in my bed and recite is it permissible to prostrate on the bed?

Sheikh i decided to memorize quran. As i have limited time so i am doing it alone, hearing and reading it again and again to remove mistakes if any. But at times i feel that some specialized person should also listen it from me if iam pronouncing it right or wrong. Please let me know if it is compulsory to have a companion

This is better and safer for you if you let an Arab native who is familiar with Qur’an to listen to your recitation.

My friend was listening to music with his earphones.When I was asked what I was listening to i said the quran because it is such a beautiful recitation. Upon the friend who was listening to music hearing this, he said ‘who listens to that?’ I was shocked that he thought that music was OK but quran isnt.What should I say to him?

If he meant it and intended that Quran is not listened to except by morons and retarded, then this was a statement of kufr and disbelief! You should tell this to him.

I am from Pakistan. My son is almost 4 yrs old. I go to a ladies gathering where we read quran with tafseer. When my son held quran and put it in his lap and somehow a corner of it touched his feet,everyone sitting there got really disturbed. They said quran isnt for the kids to hold,they dont do ablution,everyone who is watching this kid with quran in his lap will be sinful.

This is baseless. It is true that in such an age he must not be allowed to play with it out of respect not that he is not in wudhu!

If it is a Mushaf, then no. If it is reading Quran on an electronic device, this is permissible.

My question is regarding reading Quran in Ramadan. Some say that if one starts a Quran in Ramadan, u have to end it in Ramadan only. Can I start a Quran, let’s say today and end it in Ramadan or even after Eid, would it get me less sawab .?? What is the ruling regarding it?

This is baseless! There is no limitation to this. You can start now and read it through Ramadan.

Can I take the Quran in masjid and give to some children for reading purposes?is it permissible?

If you mean to take the Quran FROM the masjid and give it to children OUTSIDE the masjid, this is prohibited as this Quran is a property of the masjid and can’t be taken out of it.
