I trade in assorted goods. Most People buy on credit and they pay in bits. How do I pay my zakat cos the money comes in bits thruout the year?

I have a question regarding Zakat. I had rent a house with the advance or security money of $5000. There is a condition that the house owner can cut money form that for some damage in house or other reason mentioned in contract paper. Do I have to pay zakat for the $5000?

This is not permissible. You must give the zakat away immediately and not save it.

You can give zakat to an individual who is poor or needy only.

Does the person we give zakaat to need to know that this is zakaat? Or can he think it is just a sadaqah or favor?

Zakat must only be given in form of money to the poor and needy.

we have some cash in our account for which we did not pay zakah it just went out of our mind Alhamdulillah rest zakah we use to pay correctly.but my question is should we have to pay from now or from past years.

If the money you had in the past, was “zakatable”, you must pay for the past years too.

Recently , I read your post about deobandies Sec , we give our Zakhat to one of Madras , darulaloom in Remote area in kashmir, all children thre are orphans . So our Zakakhat amount goes to their food supplies. I got confused now,as you mentioned that they are also source of innovation in Islamic Should I continue to give them Zakhat.

If the money is going to feed orphans, this is permissible. But if it is spent to teach them their cult, this isn’t permissible.
