For a person’s Salah to be accepted, does he have to know what he is reciting in salah & the meanings of the words?

This would be best but if not possible, his prayer is still valid.

I stopped going to the mosque as I noticed when I attend regularly I feel a deviation in my heart and I feel lost in my Deen. The mosque is one where mawlid, urs, etc. is celebrated. It happens when I’m out of town for 2-3 days. Then my heart gets settled again and I know again what is good and what is not. Please advise me. I read your article on tricks of Shaitan but I still feel something in my heart.

As long as the Imam is Muslim, you must attend the congregation and leave immediately afterwards without participating with them in any of their innovations.

What should I do if I joined Final Atahiyaat of 1st Jamat, then I overhear the Iqama for the 2nd Jamat? 1) Should I complete/continue the 1st Jamat balance salah alone? 2) Should I leave this and go & join the 2nd Jamat?

When a congregation is going on with the Imam, there is only one follower to his right side, and then two people enter to join the congregation, what should the two people do; pull the follower back or both of them go and stand to the right side of the Imam?

I prayed jummah in the wudu area because the mosque was full. In the wudu area, there is a door which leads to the toilet, can we pray in the wudu area if there is a door which leads to the toilet?

As long as it is not the toilet, this is permissible.

If a man after emitting madhi, washes his penis and does wudoo but forgets to wash his testicles and remembers that he didn’t wash his testicles only after finishing a fard salaah, will he have to repeat that salaah?

I have had a lot of discussions with one of my friends and he always says that Huquq al-Ibaad [Rights of the Slaves (of Allah)] are more important than As-Salah (Prayer). But this thing annoys me.Tell me Sheikh whether Huquq Al-Ibaad are more important or As-Salah?

This is not true! Prayer is more important.

In silent prayers in JAMA’AT , Do we have to recite another SURAH after reciting Surah Fatiha OR we just have to recite FATIHA and then remain silent ?

You can recite another Surah if you wish as standing silently is not logical

In salah, when I do the “tahiyat”, instead of saying: “Ashadu anna Muhammadur-rasulullah”, I say: “Ashadu anna Muhammadon-abduhu wa rasulullah/rasuluhu (one of these two)”. I also ALWAYS say: “Sallalahu alayhi wassallaam” after “rasulullah/rasuluhu” is being mentioned in the tahiyat. I also ask the SAME du’a after every salah (in English). Is this bid’ah?

Saying salutation alone after saying this is not part of the Sunnah as we were not taught to say it.

Continuation of last topic: “raising hands after Salaah” You said raising hands is bidaah. So, do you suggest that I should keep my hands on my knees while doing the Zikr?
