QUESTION: Can i divide a long surah in salah? I know it’s sunnah and not obligatory to recite a surah after fatiha, but I love reciting long surah. So, for example, I am reciting surah Rahman (which has 78 ayahs) in Fajar fard Prayer. Can I recite half in one rakah and other half in second rakah?

QUESTION: I have prayed multiple days with trace of blood coming from back private part after answering call of nature (I am a man), not knowing if this blood was from inside or outside the body. It remained small little traces of blood after washing that I ignored to avoid irritating the area. are those prayers valid ? Can I keep on doing this ?

ANSWER: If the blood is from inside your anus, this is najis and you must wash it off before praying but if it’s from outside, it’s pure and does not have any impact on your prayer

QUESTION: Sheikh, when I make wudu at home and then put on long socks, I later wipe over them for ease when I renew my wudu. But when I’m outside, I always see people washing their feet instead of wiping over their socks. Is there more reward for washing the feet when it’s easy to do so, or is wiping over the socks equally rewarding?

QUESTION: I went to the masjid just to pray alone as a muslimah. i sat down to put my things down, then i remembered i shouldn’t sit without praying tahiyyatul masjid. so i made wudu, prayed the 2 rakaat, then prayed my fard. is this correct, and am i sinful for sitting down at the beginning since i forgot?

ANSWER: If you prayed fard, without sitting down, that would suffice for tahiyatul masjid as well.

ANSWER: It is not a condition for the khutbah to be in the state of purity but it is recommended. Therefore, he can finish both khutbah and then appoint someone else to lead the prayers while he rushes to perform wudhu.
