When I pray Witr ( after praying Isha) Do I have to pray one or three rakats?If three Rakats , I need to start stating my intention for two times? First two rakats and then one rakat.

Is a person’s salah invalid if he prays in a room filled with dolls and teddy bears that have facial features?

ANSWER: The salah is valid but it’s not appropriate to pray there. At least he must cover those dolls with something while praying.

My granma is 80+ or close to 90. for last couple of week she is sick missed prayer. she is on bed can’t move. her behaviour became a bit abnormal. she normally used to pray 5 times a day. my uncle said to her u dnt hv 2 do d wudu or sit to pray(as u r unable)& u r like a baby. is it correct that whn people reach really old age they r being treated lyk baby?

When I attend jamat prayer, do i have to say “sami-allah huliman hamidah” with the imam? Or just say “rabbana lakal hamd”.

ANSWER: The followers should only say ‘Rabbana wa lakal hamd’

The question is when people offer salah and goes in rukoo they see between the feet or sometimes on the thumb of the right foot.When i enquired from one he said our imam said that the soul will be pulled from the thumb of right foot so we look on it.What is the extact ruling according to shareeia.

ANSWER: This is absolutely baseless and fabricated. You should look at your sujood position or between your feet and sujood position while in ruku.

This is the first time I am going to give zakah on my jewels as it’s been a year since I got married.. I know that its allowed to give zakah to my husband if he’s in need.. But I feel little bad to give him because it maybe considered that he is PO.. anyways the zakah amount is to clear his loans..should he be my first priority in giving the zakah or what shall I do?

ANSWER: Zakat must be given to a poor or needy Muslim in the form of cash. If he is classified as such, you can give him from your zakat providing these loans are not interest based loans.

ANSWER: It is permissible for a shaved man to give the athan.

Sheikh,in our masjid there r two Adhans for Jummah prayer.After first Adhan the imam gives sermon(khutba) in mother tongue and after 2nd Adhan he gives sermon in arabic.As we know that the angels stop writing when the sermon starts. So do we consider the sermon from the first adhan or 2nd adhan.

ANSWER: The real Friday sermon is the one that is after the second athan.

At the nearest mosque I usually pray from, they play a recorded Adhan whenever it’s time for swallah. Should I repeat after it, can I say the Dua that the prophet told us to say after the Adhan as this Adhan is not called by a person but rather it’s a recorded one.

When i return from school, there is hardly any yime left for zuhr and i cannot pray it in school so is it allowed to then combine it with Asr or not?

ANSWER: This is not permissible. You must pray it on time. You can pray it anywhere before leaving school even if in a corridor or a garden or the street.
