Sheikh, is it compulsory for a woman to do iqamah for every salat she does.

ANSWER: It is a highly recommended Sunnah to give iqamah for fard prayers for both men and women, however it’s not mandatory.

sheikh, can you please provide me the english transliteration of the dua of istikhara that is said after praying istikhara salah. it would also be beneficial if you provide the meaning as well.

ANSWER: No problem in this as reciting qunoot in witr is not mandatory.

ANSWER: The one who doesn’t pray witr is not sinful as it is not obligatory prayer, but one will miss a great reward.

If a person does not get up for Fajr Salah in time and reads when he gets up an hour later or so as it is said Satan Whispers in their ears and says enough time and makes him miss in time.It is said Satan also urinates in his ears to miss Fajr Salah.Is it so?And if he urinates always does that person get ear illness,like loss of balance,deafness etc

ANSWER: The Hadeeths are authentic. This is not necessarily related to physical illnesses.

If I late at at fajr salah at masjid and I the imam has already done 1 rakah.. What will i do then? Should i perform 2 rakah sunnah quickly or join in the congregation? And if I skip the sunnah can i pray after the fard salah?

ANSWER: You must not pray anything when the imam is leading the prayer, you must join him immediately and you can pray the sunnah after fard.

Shafi Calculation ASR start time/zuhr end time is 1:33 Hanafi asr start time/zuhr end time 2:05, if I pray zuhr between 1:33/2:05 is my Zuhr Valid?

ANSWER: The hanafis calculate their Asr time wrong, so by default their end time for dhuhr is wrong as well and if you delay dhuhr till their end time then your salah is invalid. Follow the Umm al qura timetable.

In my country ; people say that when men go to pray the jumu’a prayer ; women who stayed at home should wait until their arrival, to pray duhr prayer. Is it part of the Sunnah ? Because i haven’t seen it anywhere .

ANSWER: This is baseless. They can pray the minute the time of thuhur is due as usual.

I realized 5 min before the zuhr salah ended. I prayed 4 raka fard first, then 2 raka Sunnah. Then I prayed 4 raka zuhr sunnah 2×2 and prayed fard of Asr. Did I do it right? Please advise.

ANSWER: If you prayed at least one rakah of dhuhr before the time ended your prayer is valid.
