Names and Attributes of Allaah

I read that the name “Allah” of Allah azzawajal “comprises all the meanings of His beautiful Names” from “allahsnames.net” website. Or in other words the meaning of all of Allah’s other names are within this name. Is this correct?

ANSWER: Yes. Allah’s Beautiful Names

Shaikh,to hold my concentration on salat,I often imagine that I am standing before Allah and Allah is in front of me and HE is seeing me and during prostration,I imagine that I am prostrating near Allah’s Feet.But I am afraid,is this kind of imagination sinful?Or should I imagine that Allah is in HIS ARSH and HE is seeing me from there during my salat?Please help me,am I doing something sinful?

ANSWER: The Muslim is not supposed to try to imagine or picture Allah, rather, he has to believe in the sublime attributes which befit His Might and Majesty in which there is none like unto Him.

Is it allowed for a muslim to say : “O my God” or ” O my Gosh” or similar things of that nature?

ANSWER: One should not say this as God is not one of Allah’s beautiful names.

Sheikh, a high profile educator (non-Muslim) told me that the meaning of the word “Allah” is “unique”. I searched everywhere, I dint get any answer, can you please say me so that I can convey him!

ANSWER: The name Allaah refers to the One Who is adored and worshipped, the One Who possesses the attributes of divinity and to whom all His creation is enslaved. The attributes of divinity with which He describes Himself are the attributes of perfection.

Is the understanding that Allah has two kinds of attributes, those perceived (without idrak) with the heart and with the eyes (ie: not abstract). As for Allah’s Wajh, Saaq, Yadain, qadamain, aynain etc they can be perceived with the eyes (ie: not abstract) but differ in their ru’ya, and the how is unknown to us.

ANSWER: Why would you call Allah anything other than what Allah has named Himself with in the Quran or in sunnah? This is not permissible.

Here in Pakistan people say Allah as Allah mian or Allah talla…is this correct?
