ANSWER:

Why would you call Allah anything other than what Allah has named Himself with in the Quran or in sunnah? This is not permissible.

Shaikh one of my friend is asking can we call Allah Almighty by Yahweh (jehovah) because this name is used in torah (hebrew) for Allah Almighty…..

Is the understanding that Allah has two kinds of attributes, those perceived (without idrak) with the heart and with the eyes (ie: not abstract). As for Allah’s Wajh, Saaq, Yadain, qadamain, aynain etc they can be perceived with the eyes (ie: not abstract) but differ in their ru’ya, and the how is unknown to us.
