On your website, you state that a woman should remain dry for at least 12 hours in order to make ghusl (take a ritual bath) after her period is over. My question is why can’t she just take a bath after 3-4 hours of being dryness… 12 hours is too long.. can you specify more on this subject… Where is the daleel about that.. what does the Qur’an say about it? Who determined the 12 hours?

Sir I’ve been bleeding since 24th ramadan. It stops for a while but starts again after i take a ghusl. It’s really confusing i can’t understand whether its menses or not. The blood is not clotty and flowy. It’s brown in color and i had cramps just for one day and then there is no pain like i have in normal menstruation days. Should i pray sir?

ANSWER: No problem in making dhikr throughout the day and night, morning and evening adkar, reciting Quran while menstruating. And you must not recite this in your heart, rather must move your tongue and lips.

sheikh, we miss our quran recitations due to menses in Ramadaan . So if complete it after Ramadaan as how we complete our missed fasts will our recitation will be recorded & rewarded as if we have completed it in Ramadaan?

ANSWER: Your fast is broken immediately, even if you started you period a few seconds before maghrib and you must make this day up after Ramadan, including your other days of menses.

ANSWER: The hadeeth you mentioned is not authentic, and there is no evidence from Quran and Sunnah prevents women to read Quran during their menses, and as the principle that things are allowed unless there is an evidence to the contrary, then no problem for women to read Quran during their menses.

My question is that, imagine if a girl missed her fasting due to her menses 1st year Ramadan and she did fast the missed ones in 2nd year Ramadan. Now she’s entering third year Ramadan, she gave Kaffara for the past year, but lately.Is what she did right? Or is there anything else she should do?

ANSWER: If she had no excuse for delaying these missed days, she is sinful for that delay. She must keep all the missed fasts because there is no kaffara for this except making up the missed fasts.
