In one of your recent clip abt rolling pants in salah I heard and I heard you saying that when we are offering salah we must not fold our cloths or tuk it in..so my ques in is sometimes when I wear full sleeve shirt I foldy sleeve and I even in my shirt…so when I want to offer salah should I make it free??

ANSWER: If you rolled it not for prayer but for any other reason, it is not mandatory to free it for prayers.

I advised a brother at the masjid not to allow his trousers to go below his ankle and quoted a hadith to support this, and in response he narrated the incident involving Abu Bakr and claimed that, like for him, this is ok as long as the intention is not pride. How should a person best respond to this point of view please?

ANSWER: Abu Bakr was complaining that his waist wrapper used to loosen up and go beyond his ankles though he lifts up all the time! The one who gave him the exemption of pride was the Prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam! Your friend has no one to give him such exemption!

I sometimes play with other brothers in a basketball court who wear shorts that goes up on their knee or above it. I do not wear shorts that are above my knee. Am I doing wrong by hanging and playing with brothers who are wearing their shorts above their knee?

Sir…Sir I have a sweater saying 90 % of Murino wool and 10 % of Silk…is it permissible for man to wear? And what percentage is the limit?

ANSWER: If its real silk then you must not wear it. However if it’s synthetic silk then no problem in wearing it.

I am little confused , is rolling pants a sin(just like one fold) to ensure that they are above ankles as almost all of my garments are above ankle , I am not talking about only in salah , I am talking about every time, would rolling it up prevents me from the sin?or should I look forward cutting it

ANSWER: No this is not sinful as you are obliged to keep them over the ankles whether by folding or cutting them.

i have a pair of socks where there is a Nike logo, is it allowed or is it a sin to were these socks?

This is a cultural thing.

In Pakistan, I used to wear Kurta Shalwar because it is loose, comfortable, cultural, and meet all Islamic conditions. I am now confused with two things and unable to decide the proper dress in Australia. I want to look distinct from the Kufaars and yet I also don’t want to wear libaas of Shuhrah. How can I fulfil these two Islamic conditions of clothing simultaneously in this situation?

Wear loose pants and shirts that cover the awrah , do not make your pants reach the ankle.

This is not a sunnah, this is cultural. It is not part of the Sunnah as the Prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam didn’t recommend it for us. This is something related to the customs.

Can I go swimming without a shirt and shorts above the knees with my friends or family

This is permissible provided that the shorts are long enough that they cover your awrah; which is the area between the navel and the knees. And that the swimming area is segregated.
