ANSWER: No problem in this. The prohibition for men is in wearing the lower garment which covers the ankles. No problem in wearing socks or boots etc.

I am from Bangladesh and currently a student. Can you please tell the ruling about wearing pants for men in Islam. Is it mandatory to wear the pants above navel for men.

ANSWER: As long as your awrah is covered by your shirt, wearing it below the navel is permissible.

ANSWER: This is not permissible as it’s imitating women and disbeliever men.

Sometimes, when I wear pants, or when I wear lungi, firstly the pants stay over the ankles. But pants become loose, and in wearing lungi, while sitting, the bottom of lungi goes under the ankles. By length, they are above the ankles, it only happens in the situation. Am I sinful, and what should I do???

ANSWER: No. As long as your lower garment is above the ankles, it doesn’t matter if it goes down when you sit or lie down.

I’m confused how a fade haircut is imitating the disvelievers. Everyone in uk has his haircut , In the uk it is not seen as a marines haircut but as a normal common haircut. ANSWER: This is not permissible as this exposes your awrah.

For men and women, what is the ruling on changing in a same-gender locker room where the awrah is not fully covered? What are some possible solutions to this problem? What should we do if we are required to change at school during P.E. classes? Also, can we use the communal shower in locker rooms while naked? Detailed answer if possible.

ANSWER: You can’t expose your awrah or be in a place where people’s awrah is exposed. If there are private areas for showering where no one can come in or see you, this is permissible.
