Nowadays, marriages should be authenticated by a certified Imam so that no tampering would occur in the future. This is to protect the woman’s rights.

i will meet a US american girl on skype she accept Islam now she wants to marry me we meet 1 time in dubai now she wants again to meet me she want nikkah with me . Its possible that we both are in one room and our molvi and witness in pakistan through skype so this nokkah is possible please answer my question.

This is not permissible for a number of reasons. You can’t marry her without the consent of the Muslim judge in Dubai. You can’t be alone with her as she is non mahram to you. The witnesses must be present and Muslim.

My distant orphan relative married to a Hindu,without her guardian’s consent.That man said shahadah performed nikah (don’t know about mehr payment),shortly after that performed marriage according to Hindu custom and shortly after that registered marriage.Is this marriage jayaz as both of them are non practising Muslims?what about those who witnessed it?

For a marriage to be valid, the follwoing conditions are there: Bride and groom are both Muslims or bride is atleast from ahl-ul-kitaab. presence of Bride’s Wali. presence of two witnesses and no obstacles preventing the marriage.

I have a Bangladeshi passport . One brother proposed marriage to my father for me and he is British, his father is from Egypt. He tells us that he don’t want to register the marriage in the civil court of uk but don’t mind to register it in the Islamic centre in uk . My father is just trying to safeguard my future. But he will never register it in the civil court .

The marriage is correct but if he doesn’t register you in a civil court, this means he is either married or intending to marry another woman which he can’t do in a civil marriage. He wouldn’t be able to get you a visa as you are not registered as his wife .

The marriage is not valid except if the Imam is an authorized Imam to conduct such marriages by the Islamic community!

Recently, I have married a revert girl who is 16. local imam was her wali and 4 Muslims and three muslimah witnessed it. Her wali suggested to hide the marriage from her family but unfortunately our families are informed of this marriage. Both of our families extremely violated it. Her father detained her. i tried so many times to communicate with her but failed. Hope we will meet soon

Your marriage to her must be through the Islamic court. If there isn’t one, it should be through the authorized Imam of the Islamic center who would act as her Wali and not any man you bring from the streets .

if my husband Takes a second wife , and if I take a khula will i b among the wrongdoers ? I am not stopping him from getting married but I won’t b able to stay with him.
