Medical insurance is haram in India since almost all the insurance companies deal with Riba. But I am working in a company where my company forces the employees to take medical insurance and cuts the premium amount from our salary. My question is can we claim this medical insurance amount and give it to the poor without expecting any rewards similar to what we do with the interest amount coming from bank rather than leaving it unclaimed. Please enlighten on this.

A person is living in U.A.E. According to the law of government if a person do not have the medical insurance card of the company, his/her medical treatment, X-ray, ultra sound, delivery etc Are charged with such an amount that his/her salary is not enough to pay that amount. In this case is it permissible to make or to have an insurance card? Because without that the survival is not possible due to very expensive medical check up.
