I want to work by a muslim gynecologist, but i have to work with health insurance cards and as I know every insurance is involved with interest (In Germany everyone needs to have an insurance). I often think that maybe I will be sinning if I start working there with these cards, because I could also keep on looking for another job, is this right or can I start working there?

This sin is on the holder of the card and not on the medical staff. They are doing a service and it is not their sin where the people pay them from!

In our non islamic country,it is a must to ensure vehicles and to have medical insurance and to have a social security fund where we pay some amount every month and that money is kept in the central bank and it is used to pay you pensions after retirement.And it is mandatory by law to have a president’s potrait in all offices or shops..Is it a sin on us if we have no choice?

When you are forced to do this by law and you would be a felony if you don’t do that, in this case it is permissible.

Is it permitted to take out insurance for my mobile phone by paying an extra amount per month just in case the phone gets damaged ?

This is not permissible.

Is takaful insurance which offers us a various medical coverage for the time of need and emergencies or lost of ability to work or death on condition of continuous monthly fixed amount of payment to the takaful company permissible in islam? Summerized Details: The amount given to us sometimes lot more than what we have paid, and sometime we cannot claim anything. Depending on our health condition. And If we want to cancel, only 60% of our accumulated payment will be available. What is the islamic ruling regarding this takaful insurance sheikh? Whether or not it’s like LIFE INSURANCE?

If the conditions of takaful are applied to the letter, this is permissible in Sha Allah but I doubt that there is any such company!

Recording transactions which are mandatory by the state for example transactions which involve recording of GOSI payments which are mandatory and knowing that GOSI is insurance and other medical insurance payments which are mandatory upon every citizen of KSA. What is the opinion of recording such transactions?

This is permissible in Sha Allah as it is enforced by the Muslim government and they bear the sin of it!

My school makes it mandatory for me to get health insurance, and the only way for me to cancel getting insurance from them is to get insurance from another company. They are taking a lot of money from me when I don’t want to give it. Is it okay for me to use the benefits from this insurance?

Insurance is not permissible in Islam! However, scholars say that in cases of obligation by the authorities, one is permitted to issue one and hence can benefit from it as they are taking your money unlawfully!

Is it permissible to do a one month intern ship in a conventional insurance company?

Working in an insurance company is not permissible even if for one month training.

Medical insurance is haram in India since almost all the insurance companies deal with Riba. But I am working in a company where my company forces the employees to take medical insurance and cuts the premium amount from our salary. My question is can we claim this medical insurance amount and give it to the poor without expecting any rewards similar to what we do with the interest amount coming from bank rather than leaving it unclaimed. Please enlighten on this.

If your employer is making it mandatory on you, then you can use it.

In the UK you can pay your car insurance 100% up front or you can pay in 12 monthly Instalments. If you choose instalment option there is an additional fixed charge for this credit 10%.

It is not permissible to work for an insurance company as the majority of them are commercial insurance companies that deal n both Riba and gambling.
