QUESTION: What is the ruling of praying Witr when travelling. How to pray witr if I am combining Maghrib and Isha. Is it compulsory to pray Witr or I can leave.

ANSWER: It is a confirmed sunnah that one prays witr whether residing or traveling as the prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam used to do. If one combines isha to maghreb, one can offer witr after that without any problem and without the need to wait until it is time for isha

QUESTION: I forgot to wash my hands and rinse my nose when waking up and I immediately made wudu without doing this beforehand. Is my wudu and salah I prayed valid?

ANSWER: It’s valid. Washing hands and rinsing nose is highly recommended after waking up, however its not mandatory.

QUESTION: My office login time starts at the time if maghrib adhaan, there’s no option to pray in office hours. When shall I pray my maghrib- 10-15 mins before adhaan or alongwith my Isha in the break? Or what will be the best way possible?

ANSWER: You must pray before the time of maghrib ends. Everyone gets a coffee break or would have to need the washroom, you must utilise that time and pray the fard as it won’t take 5 or 6 minutes.

QUESTION: If I am wearing a half sleeve shirt (kameez) and I wear a big scarf on it that covers upto my trunk during prayer, is my prayer valid? Because if I raise my hands for Takbeer the scarf also raises with it and someone in the front can see my hands uncovered.

ANSWER: This is not permissible and the prayer would be invalid if done intentionally You must wear an outer garment over such clothes that covers the entire body, bone structure and curves and a loose abaya would do the job perfectly
