ANSWER: If you fold the sleeves for the prayer, this is not permissible. If you fold it all the time and not just for the sake of prayer, this is permissible.

sheikh if a muslim is travelling in public bus from one city to other city in non muslim country.and its time for fajr and he is not in wudu.but by the time he reaches his destination (bus station)time for fajr will end.and bus driver will not stop in between and there is no masjid also in between.How should he pray in this condition.?note tayamum is also not possible in bus

ANSWER: This is not from the sunnah as the hadeeth in replying to the last verse of it is not authentic.

Can you do 2 nafal or more than that at any time of the day and there are no restrictions like for eg… After Asr there is no prayer until maghrib so can you pray nafal then or not????

Sheikh, i know about the 17 fard rakahs and 12 highly recommended sunnah units. Here in Pakistan for e.g we offer 17 rakahs for isha salah alone. We offer 4 units sunnah before 4 fard of esha and after 2 recommended units of esha we offer 2 nawafil as part of isha prayer. And after offering 3 witr we again offer 2 nafl as part of isha prayer! where is it mentioned to offer these

ANSWER: This is an innovation. Isha 4 Fard 2 Sunnah As for night prayer and witr, the minimum is one and there is no max for that.

What is the ruling of rafaidain? Here in india people say that during namaz munafiq used to hide idols so prophet Muhammad sallallahu alaihiwasssalam done rafaidain. Is it correct?

ANSWER: It is not permissible to wear shorts in Islam. You must repeat prayers in which your awrah was exposed. For a man, this is the area between his navel and knees. You have no excuse in wearing shorts and then when it is prayer time, you say I don’t have proper clothes on!

I suffer from severe headache/migraine & its so bad that at times I have to keep my room in darkness because light hurts eyes Im able to pray sitting or when it becomes unbearable, I pray sitting/laying down with gesture. Is it permissible for me to leave salat until I feel better, because though I pray, it is without concentration & khushu because of the pain.

ANSWER: You must not abandon prayer. As long as you pray it within its allotted time, this is permissible. Make ruqyah for the headaches. You also need to do cupping as this is one of the best treatments for migraines. What is Ruqyah and how one should do it?
