ANSWER: One must not stop praying even his prayers will not be accepted in case he consumes intoxicants, because he will become a kafir if he doesn’t pray!

There is a girl, she is firm in her tawheed practises Islam, follows sunnah, and directs others towards sunnah and tawheed, she saves herself from bid’at, she tries hard to save herself form backbiting, but she only prays fardh.. and 12 sunnah recommended in a day.. sometimes she skips due to his work.. some sunnah form these. What can we say?she is in guilt?

ANSWER: As long as she is praying her fard on time, she is not sinful and is on the right track as the sunnah prayers are not a “must’ for the validity of the 5 daily prayers. She would get more reward if she maintains and observes the sunnah though.

In Jummah, when the imaam begins the khutbah, the people sit with their arms folded (right hand over the left wrist) just like in salah. When the imaam sits and stands up to give the second part of the khutbah, people put their hands on their knees (just like in tashahhud) Is there any bases for this or an innovation? And lastly how should one sit during a khutbah?

ANSWER: This is not permissible. A Muslim woman must be covered from head to toe. She must wear the hijab and a loose fitting outer garment that conceals the entire shape and bone structure of her body during her salah.
