Is it permissible to recite du’a qunoot before bowing in Ruku, and without raising the hands in Salaat ul Witr?

ANSWER: The most correct opinion is that dua qunoot should be prayed after coming back from ruku. It is Sunnah to raise your hands during the Duaa of qunoot.

In salah sometime i realize that i do just one sujood in one rakah, what should i do sheykh, will sujood saho enough for me, if i forget one sujood?

ANSWER: What this lady has said is not true at all. Prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam had said, ‘Pray as you have seen me praying’, he did not say this only to men so there’s no difference between a man’s and a woman’s prayer.

I believe it is permissible to read Salatul ibrahimiya in first tashahud but what about making a dua? Q) Is it ok to make dua in the first tashahud after Salatul ibrahimiya?

ANSWER: This is an issue of dispute. You shouldn’t make Duaa after it in the first tashahud.

Sheikh, everyday while I out to the mosque for fajr all my family members are sleeping. I’m the youngest son and I live with my parents and an older sister. Do I wake them up? I asked them if I should and they showed reluctance. What should I do?

ANSWER: You should wake them up before going. If they don’t get up the sin is on them while you have done your job. If they clearly tell you not to wake them up, do not wake them.

Is it true that Istikhara prayer can be performed even at forbidden times, that is after Fajr till Ishraq and after Asr? I heard a sheikh saying this in Khutba in KSA and want to confirm if its true or not.

There is this musalla in the airport, but it is outside of the customs and immigrations. time of Isha is 10 mins before boarding time. I might be late for the boarding time, due to queue and custom/immigration if I perform Isha in the musalla, possibly with the jama’ah. Can I perform Isha Alone, before the boarding gate or pray Isha after magrib?

ANSWER: You shouldn’t join Isha to Maghreb unless you are outside your own city boarders. You can pray it alone or on the plane.

Shiekh How can I compensate for salah that I miss?…I often miss fajar salah…is their any way to reoffer your missed salah?

ANSWER: If you miss it without a legitimate reason then you cannot compensate for it as it is bound by a fixed specific time! You need to seek forgiveness and make sure that you do not miss it in future again.
