Shaikh, Can a women talk with Non-Mehram regarding Islam or Dawah on Social Networking like facebook instagram. Is this permissible in Islam.

ANSWER: No this is not permissible as it opens the door for Satan to lead you to something haram. Limit it with other women!

Nowadays we see people watching Islamic lectures on YouTube and most of the time females are the one who watch and listen lectures since most of the time men can go out in a masjid and listen the khutbah or lectures, Is it permissible for women to watch men or for men to watch women who preach Islam just for beneficial means?

ANSWER: It is permissible for women to learn from men unless they fear fitnah. It is not permissible for men to watch women as they are instructed to lower their gaze. Whenever I want to ask a question to a sheikh or knowledgeable person at my mosque, I become fearful that I am only asking them to make myself look good, as if I am very keen to seek knowledge, which causes me to not ask the question. As a back-up, I sometimes contact a sheikh anonymously online to prevent riyaa’, though this can be difficult sometimes. Is what I am doing recommended or permissible

ANSWER: What you’re doing is giving in to the whispers of Satan. If you truly seek knowledge then you must not worry about what people think. Scholars say: knowledge is blocked from two: someone who is arrogant and someone who is shy.

I wanted to know that is modern education helpful in Islam. Please answer as soon as possible. I am not able to study properly due to this fact. Please give proofs and evidence form the Quran and Sunnah.

ANSWER: It is important for the Muslim Ummah to acquire worldly knowledge in order to compete with other Nations and to be ahead of them all! This depends on the subject itself, if it is halal then one can study it, if not, then it is haram.

So I’m to write about an influencial personality for a scholarship award, thing is I intend to write about Dale Carnegie ’cause when I read his landmark book on how to influence people I learnt literally why people do certain things and wisdom behind many sunnahs. So it has made me better follower of the Prophet. Is this alright?

ANSWER: Keep on relating her to Quran and sunnah and not to scholars while making a lot of Duaa for her guidance. By connecting her to the word of Allah, she will adhere to it one day.

What is life? Why are we born for? Is the purpose our life is only to worship ALLAH SWT? I had a dream to become something in my life, to be well known person, to do something constructive in life. ANSWER: You need to learn the Quran and understand what Allah wants of you. Your ignorance of Islam makes you a breeding ground for Satan to infest it with his doubts and whispers that can be only fought with proper knowledge.

Referring to the verse ” so turn away from whoever turns his back on Our message and desires not except the wordly life” (An-Najm 29). Sir is it applicable to dawah to Muslims also? Means when should we turn away from giving dawah to someone?
