“This is not permissible because it is cooperating with them on evil and vice and  this is not befitting of a Muslim to be in such a place!”

I am working in a hotel. They sell alcohol in restaurant. In our kitchen we are not using alcohol at all during cooking, because our chef is Muslim. Is my salary haram? …I asked General Authority of Islamic Affairs & Endowments, so they give me fatwa that my salary is halal. I think this answer was not enough for me. What is correct answer according to Quran and Sunnah?
