If a man wants to see the hair of his future wife before the marriage can he do so in the presence of her mahrams?

The Prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam said to his companion: if you can see what invites you to marry a woman, go ahead. That is why scholars say that it is permissible to come out to the brother in her normal clothes she wears in her house, exposing her face, neck, hair and arms.

If one with one wife intends to mary a divorcee who is much older than the first wife and very good in character and religious as well.What mariege processes are involved and can one do it witout informing too many people about it

It is like any other marriage. He can inform those who are around him and he is not obliged to inform everyone.

I would like to ask you about the halal and haram in an engagement. For a couple that have only read the Fatiha?

The marriage contract has to have the proposal from the guardian and the acceptance of the man, the consent of the woman and the presence of two witnesses. Reciting the Fatiha is an innovation and has no significance in the marriage. These two are not married yet and they are total strangers.

My question is , there is a friend of mine who has done his nikah around 3 to 4 months back but did not do the walimah (he did not give reception). Can he do the walimah later?

… The walimah is not an essential part of the marriage and it can be made few days after the contract.

Is it a Sunnah to have a nikah in a mosque? Which is better, mosque or home?

It is best to make it in the home.

My fiancée and her elder sister want to take me in shopping with them without any mahram to buy me gifts. Their Mahrams are not available to accompany us. Am I permissible to go with them in this case?

This is not permissible and neither talking to them as they are non Mahram to you. you can’t have such socialization with your fiancé until you are married. Her sister is a total stranger before and even after marriage.

By waleema feast on the same day…or is it compulsory to To have gap of few days between nikah and waleema?

Could you please clarify what are the limits for a girl in terms of covering herself when coming in front of a man for the purpose of marriage in the presence of guardian? For example, does she have to cover her hair, remove any make-up and cover herself in abaya from head to toe but keeping her face open?

It’s an issue of dispute among scholars. I believe it is permissible for her to come out uncovered as if she’s wearing decent normal clothes in her home revealing her hair, part of her arms and legs as well. She must not wear any makeup.
