Ya sheikh, are we obliged to forbidding evil immediately at the spot/time/place that evil happens? For example, if my husband has just come back home and very tired but he said something clearly haraam, am I obliged to advise him at that time or am I allowed to choose any time I think it’s appropriate?

ANSWER: You must be wise while advising people and look at the appropriate time and place as you don’t want to create a bigger evil.

Assalumaleykum my favourite sheikh. I hope you are doing good❤. My ques. Is that im in college and my friends ussually call me for playing, dancing, partying ect. Actually i have privacy concerns because i have doubt that they might drink or smoke or take drugs.thats y i prefer to be in my room only and studying and praying. Is it necessary to go out with them ? Fardh or sunnah ?

ANSWER: Going dancing and partying is totally prohibited and such friends who invite you to such activities are evil and deviant. Avoid them like you avoid the plague and only hang out with righteous practicing friends who get you closer to Allah.

Im a girl in a muslim uni and its mixed. Often i see my friends interacting with guys and hanging out and also having soo much fun.honestly i feel very lame because i only keep a few female friends. I always debate whether i should open up my personality and interact with them and also change my clothing style to fit in. Would i be sinful or do u have any advice to deal with uni life?

ANSWER: You can either clean it yourself or place the bird food further away from the building so he doesn’t have to clean it. You can’t harm other people just to feed the birds who will find food elsewhere.

I have a new revert friend . What she is doing these days is putting up photos on instagram revealing her cleavage and hair without hijab and using hashtags like #alhamdulillah. I have a debt around $490, but the person that I owe this money to is not reachable! I just have his email address, but he is not opening it. I am not sure if he uses it or not. ANSWER: Exhaust all means to reach him. Try contacting his friends or family or his acquaintances if possible. When you have exhausted all means and he is still not reachable, in this case you can give that amount in charity to poor and needy Muslims on his behalf.

I’m in a critical fix where i have to choose ALLAAH over my closest people in life. Obeying ALLAAH will cause their displeasure and i fear losing them. But i also know disobeying ALLAAH will make an ultimate loser. Obeying people include sin. How should i tackle this situation where i keep my duty to ALLAAH and don’t lose closest one, too? If a person did fraud on some companies, how should he return them the money if there seems to be no way to give it to them? Should a person go to the company or try to mail the money to them?

ANSWER: He should find a way to give back the money, even if it has to be done anonymously. If this is not possible, he must give it to poor and needy Muslims.

My husband told me that he confirmed from some aalim that the gold jewellery ‘he’ bought for me after marriage till date is not my possession but only his. He said he can take it permanently (not wearing) whenever he wants. What’s the ruling on this in Islam?
