I have a question concerning the the time when suhoor time ends. Allah says in the quran “and eat and drink until the white thread (light) of dawn appears to you distinct from the black thread (darkness of night)” [al-Baqarah 2:187]. Practically we are unable to say when this dawn breaks. is it the time of fajr? does fajr starts with this dawn?

my uncle is diabetic and is on insulin…his doctor has asked him not to fast since his sugar level fluctuates…what should he do?

If the Doctors believe that fasting may be dangerous and life threatening for this person then he should not fast and cover his missed fasts after Ramadan when he recover. I recommend he takes a second opinion from a Muslim doctor,

What is the ruling on fasting but thought of breaking the fast due to hungry/thirst but realised shaytaan playing with his head, is this person fast valid?

I will be needing to get an injection as part of my work placement in the nhs hospital. This is not a nutritional injection but for immunity against hepititus b. Will this invalidate my fast during Ramadan.

My brother works in ship and stays in sea for few days so just wanted to know if it’s compulsory on him to fast or can he make up when he returns home.also let me know is it obligatory on him as he takes sea sickness pills and he comes in traveller category.

If the injection is nutritious, this invalidates fasting. But if it is a pain killer or a vaccine or insulin, the fasting is intact!

Allah is not shy of the truth. A sister asked me to ask you that if after fajr while she is fasting she sleeps and has a wet dream can she delay the ghusl till just before the next salah?

I have hemorrhoid problem and doctor has prescribed an anal cream. Will this be a problem as I have to apply this cream in anal region during fasting? Please respond at your earliest.
