What is the difference between a Nabi and a Rasool?

A Rasool is a messenger who was given a new religion and Share’ah and was ordered to deliver the message. A Nabi is a Prophet who doesn’t have a new law was ordered to deliver the previous Share’ah.

Sometimes, I feel so much impressed by seerah or a hadeeth of our Prophet, I tell may myself be sacrificed for u oh rasulullah. I know he is dead and can not hear. Is this against our belief ? As Prophet’s sahaba used to say in his life time.

Ahlu Al Kitab are the Jews and the Christians. They are considered to be non Muslims and everyone who is not a Muslim is a Kafir. The difference between them and other non Muslims is that we can eat what they slaughter from halal animals and we can marry their chaste women.
