Is it true that I may not love my non-Muslim parents?

This is absolutely not true. You love them, respect them and obey them as parents but you hate in them their disbelief and try your best to make them accept Islam.

I am working in one of the GCC countries and the company where we are working are providing us accommodations. In our flat,I am the only Muslim, my flatmates are Christians.I don’t want to mingle with them because I feel uneasy knowing their frame of mind.

This is OK. Originally, we are not supposed to mix with the non Muslims except for real needy reasons. If you are afraid of being soft and imitating their way and may be being impressed with their lives or reaching a stage of may be sharing some of their forbidden practices, you have to leave.

I worked in a bank and due to shifts, working atmosphere I quit job and started searching to learn about Islam for 1 year, since didn’t get proper idea and what to follow also unable to face my family, decided to search and joined Islamic studies informing my mom that am studying med. transcription.

You shouldn’t lie to your parents. Be brave and break the news to them gently and tell them that this is what you find your heart in and may Allah make it easy on you

I would like to ask, what is your sin offering that is pleasing to Father God? You confirm Abraham and Moses. They both knew a blood sacrifice was needed for themselves. Jesus may not be God the Father,but He is definitely the only Lamb that YHWH provided for the worlds sins. Has YHWH changed His standard about a sacrifice for you?

Is it permissible for a believr or a non-believer to read the quran or enter a masjid without ablution?

A disbeliever must not touch the Quran. Entering the masjid for a disbeliever is permissible if there is a legitimate reason such as learning about Islam. It is permissible for a Muslim to enter it as well when not in the state of wudhu but he shouldn’t sit down.

I have a problem. I am from Sri Lanka, my father passed away when i was small. My mother went to Middle East (Saudi, UAE and Qatar) to earn money, she worked abroad for like 20 years and brought up me and my brother verywell. Before four years she sent me to United Kingdom, I m still in UK. But I cant stay here anymore mainly because of my faith. I feel like going away from Islam slowly. Sometimes I m so scared, I know there are good Muslimfollowers in UK but not everywhere. In my country we can follow the religion without any problem. I have earned little bit more than what my Mom spent for my Visa. I have made up my mind to go back to my Country. My question is if this act hurt my Mom and by hurting her am I committing a big sin? Becauseshe has worked hard to send me to UK and wants me also to work here in UK and earn more money. I want to know a religious answer.

Your mother is rewarded greatly for her sacrifice. But if you feel that this is affecting your religion, you must leave and go back.

In Islam we should be good to our family and parents and try to please them. I have some non-muslim family members that insult Allah and Rasool and my religion.My uncle works in the army, so he went to Afganistan, Iraq etc. my mother is openly insulting my religion and Allah and rasool.what is the right balance between keeping in contact with my family fisabillilah and doing al wara wal bara with them. should I call my uncle who is working in the army should I keep in contact with him or should I not do this because he killed my muslim brothers and sisters?

If he is insulting your religion, you shouldn’t keep kinship to him and you should shun him.

I have a Christian maid who has run out of money as she sent the whole amount to her family; now she has no money to buy the phone card to call her family on Christmas; Can I give her money as charity?

It seems to me that she will call them because they are her family and not for Christmas only. Therefore, it is permissible to give her the money plus giving her some Dawah as well.

I know as a Muslim I am responsible to convey the message? I cant do that face to face to my neighbors they might create problem for us. I am not afraid for my self but I worry about my family.
