My family is not muslim. Is it permissible to shake hands with my cousins’ sons? They are in their 20s up to late 50s in age.

They are not your Mahram nor your cousins, even if they were Muslims. Therefore, you must not shake hands with them.

I know that a Muslim woman can wear any style of clothing in public provided it meets the conditions of Hijab. However, I want to know whether a large khimar or shawl covering head, hair and upper body (sometimes reaching the wrists) will suffice as a jilbab or outer garment, when worn over modest, Islamically-approved clothing such as plain modest-looking, loose and flowing skirts and blouses or an ordinary looking Indo-Pak shalwar kameez?

It has to be wide, loose, modest and covers the body completely. Therefore, if it is covering her waist, this seems ok providing that the skirt is loose. But if her waist and buttocks curves are exposed, this is not permissible.

Are we as muslims allowed to lie about jinn, for instance, lie that you have seen a human possessed talking with a language that he doesnt know, meaning the jinn talking an other languauge, for instance the human only speaks English whilst the jinn only speaks Arabic?

Lying is totally prohibited. However, such possession is possible.

I have been ongoing a critical condition of doubts about my deen and have tried everything to my ability to try and stop it, such as making dua, reading qur’an, seeking knowledge etc. Can you advise me?

Ask Allah’s help ,practice Islam, seek knowledge, make istighfar , dua’a. You also need to surround yourself with practicing Muslims 24/7 and perform Ruqyah.

Some people say that if a person misses 3 or 4 Jumu’ah he is out of the fold of Islam. Is this true?

This is not true. It is a major sin and if you skip three Jum’ah, Allah will seal your heart but you will remain a Muslim.

If one’s father/husband asks family to cut down relationship with others (relatives) as they bring nothing but Fitnah and everything negative possible. What’s the ruling? Their gathering includes backbiting/slandering of others and evil eye too Allahu Alam.

If this is real and true, one can minimize relationship to the least possible degree that would protect him or her from harm and at the same time maintain what Allah ordered us to connect.

I fully understand that I am not allowed to shake a strange woman’s hand when greeting her as I am not a mahram to them. For the avoidance of doubt, please could you confirm if I can shake hands (or touch) with the following women:- my non-maternal/paternal aunts (ie. my uncles wives), my female cousins.

Can we have multiple reward if we have multiple intention for one Nawafil action. e.g intention of having 2 rakah sunnah of fajr with intention of 2 rakah of Wudu and intention of 2 rakat of greeting of mosque?

Is it BACKBITING if a muslim woman tells her “husband” and other sisters etc. about a sister she went to visit at a hospital that was BREASTFEEDING her newborn infant at a hospital. She told the breastfeeding mother that its forbidden to breastfeed in front of others. How true is this?

This is not backbiting unless the other woman hats people to know that about her. Breast feeding is permissible in front of other women providing she is properly covered.

Did Prophet Muhammad (salla Allahu alaihi wasallam) had knowledge of unseen or ilm-e-ghaib? If yes then how and if no then why?
