The farewell tawaf is mandatory for one who is leaving Mecca . Also it should be the last thing done. The flight bookings were made well in advance and now re scheduling isn’t available. ( since there is a great chance we might miss our flight) is it allowed that we do the stoning and leave for Jeddah straight from Mina or do the farewell tawaf on the 11th zilhujj.

The hajj is valid as the pillars were performed. However, you have to slaughter two sheep for leaving the stoning on the 12 and for leaving the farewell Tawaf and you must feed a poor person for not spending the night of the 12 in Mina.

Sir, please let us know if we want to do haj e qaraan is it necessary for us to take our animal for sacrifice with us. We live in Pakistan and it’s really difficult to do so. Please let us know we’ll be leaving for haj InshaAllah on Friday.

You can’t take the animal with you and you should buy it there in Makkah!

If a person is offering sacrifice at home, is he/she supposed to abstain from cutting nails or having a haircut after making niyyah? Or is only for the pilgrim?

Yes, he has to abstain until after the sacrifice is completed.

how many total tawaf and saee are in haj qiran.plz tell me I’m too much confused. If i do haj qiran,what will be tawaf e qudoom.is this tawaf of umrah or I’ll perform umrah and then tawaf e qudoom plz plz make it clear.I’ve read in a book that there are 4 tawaf.

There is only one tawaf and one Saee which are pillars of the hajj! Tawaf al qudoom is a sunnah and not mandatory! Tawaf al Wadaa is mandatory

Is it necessary for me. to call my each maternal aunt individually or I can send a message to all of them in a group in watsapp once in two weeks. is it sufficient. Please note that talking to one or other of them individually may lead to unwanted discussion, which would take us further apart.

You should speak with them and not just message them.

If a mother is not able to buy an animal for the sacrifice, is it okay if the child buys the animal to be slaughtered for the sacrifice, for the intention for both the mother and the child to get the reward?

If the mother is under the care of one of her children and that one offers a sacrifice, it is sufficient for her too and she doesn’t need to offer a separate one. The sacrifice is not mandatory on those who cannot afford it.

Is there any sharai importance of not cutting the nails and unwanted hairs during period days…also one should not cut his nails or hair during first ten days of zilhaj even though he is not performing haj but only sacrifising the the animal where he lives…???

The first is baseless. As for the second part, this is correct and one must refrain from cutting hairs or clipping nails.

I read on islamqa.info that saying “Whatever Allaah wills and you will” is a form of minor shirk. What about if one just says “whatever you will”, or “come at whatever time you will” etc.?

Shaykh you have told me that loving a sin isn’t kufr and wanting to please your desires isn’t kufr. So what is shirk of love? You have said it is when you love something more than Allah. I worry that I don’t love to please Allah because I unfortunately love my desires and it leads me to sometimes sin. I ask for forgiveness.
