I have a Bangladeshi passport . One brother proposed marriage to my father for me and he is British, his father is from Egypt. He tells us that he don’t want to register the marriage in the civil court of uk but don’t mind to register it in the Islamic centre in uk . My father is just trying to safeguard my future. But he will never register it in the civil court .

The marriage is correct but if he doesn’t register you in a civil court, this means he is either married or intending to marry another woman which he can’t do in a civil marriage. He wouldn’t be able to get you a visa as you are not registered as his wife .

Is it permissable to put women’s clothes into a charity box in my masjid. I don’t know if the women who will get these clothes will wear abaya.

This seems permissible if the clothes are not indecent.

Are Muslims allowed to buy house in the US using the conventional banking system? If not, how is a Muslim supposed to get a house if he has many children and the apartments has become smaller to accommodate everyone. Even renting a house is difficult to get and if you’re lucky to see one for rent, it’s very expensive than buying a house and paying a monthly mortgage.

since quran on a mobile phone is not considered a mushaf, can we say that reciting the Quran from the regular mushaf is better than reciting it from mobile phones?

I am doing research on genetic of colorectal cancer, For this purpose i need 1.5 ml(cc)blood samples of patient. Normaly in our hospital patient are not informed abput it . when there blood is taken for lab test , little extra blood is taken and given to us for research purpose. But i feel it as unethical and not right . but if patients are informed mostly do not allow . what should i do?

It is unethical and must not be done without informing the Patient! If you are given the blood without any involvement in the process, this is the administration’s fault and responsibility!

We run a library where we want to issue membership for 1 year against a specific amount (i.e. $ 10). Against this membership, readers can take a book to read for 15 days. Now we want to impose late fee for those who are late in returning the book beyond 15 days. Is this late fee impermissible? We’ll appreciate if you could cite an evidence if it’s impermissible.

At time of isha prayer, dinner is served, but a person or two is not hungry and wants to pray first, also the wife wants to come along with the husband to the masjid. Is it correct if they pray first then come and eat or was it wrong for them to leave dinner which served and go pray, also if the wife wants to come to the masjid with the husband, can she be refused to come to the masjid?

If he is not hungry or eager to eat, he should go to the masjid first! As for the woman, it is best for her to pray home but if she wants to go, this is permissible and he should not prevent her unless there is a valid excuse!

Please how can a person who is impure from major impurity such as menstruation perform the salatul istikharah if the decision cannot wait till after she’s pure or can another person do it on her behalf?

She can do it simply as supplication. It is not permissible to be prayed by another person.
