My parents and other family openly insult my wife and do not respect me as I earn much less than them but I do not shoult back out of respect for them as my parents n elders. I feel very upset that my wife has to go through this and guilty because I can’t help her here (May Allah reward her patience). However, is this fair? What are my rights as the youngest family member?

You should stand up for your wife with respect and while being dutiful to your parents. If they insult her in front of you do not take her to meet them as this is not an obligation on her.

If there is a death in a nearby neighbours’ house and there is still time like 2-3 hours fr da funeral prayer 2 b offered, is there any problem if I take up my food? Becuz smone told me u cant have food if BEFORE you offer funeral prayer as a mark of respect?

I am a Male. My mother is a Muslim and my father is a Christian and he never was a Muslim. My mother and father were not married when they had me and they never got married after. I was raised a Muslim though. It is permissible for me to add an Islamic name to my last name such as AdurRahman or Abdullah?

A wife pays all the bills as she works but husband is low income and can’t earn much due to depression. Can wife give zakat to her husband so he pays the bills with that money for the next few months?

A car costs $150 per week on 0% interest for 4 years. However, if the buyer falls back on paying within the 4 years, he will be charged interest. Can a Muslim sign a contract to buy the car? Or is it ribaa – as the contract will state that if he falls back on his payments and extends paying to more than 4 years, he will pay interest on the installments paid after the 4 years?

This is not permissible as the stipulation of RIBA is in the contract and he is agreeing to it.

As it is in Qur’an that Hazrat Isa will come again, I wanted to ask that in Qur’an it is also stated that there will be no prophet after Holy prophet p.b.u.h, then how is it that hazrat Isa is also a prophet and he will come after Holy prophet?

He was born and made Prophet before our Prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam and he will rule with the shariah of Mohammed, salla Allahu alaihi WA sallam and not with a new sharia or law.
