I talk to Allah in my heart all the time. I find myself constantly making duah or saying things in my sleep like la ilaha ila Allah wahdahu la sharika lah, lahu al-mulk wa lahu al-hamd, wa huwa `ala kulli shay’in qadir – but this is all in my heart & my lips aren’t moving. Do u have to utter it with your lips to be rewarded or is this worship from the heart?

My question is, I was praying behind the imam and during raising from sudjood he said ”sami’Allahu Liman Hamidah”, at the end of the prayer he did not do the prostration of forgetfulness and when I asked him he said saying that doesn’t affect the salaah because he just mixed the words due to forgetfulness. Sir I can find people who go to shrines and pray there, when I asked one of them that why is he praying to graves when it is a shirk, the reply was ” I am not praying to him (the one whose shrine is), I am asking him to pray for me to Allah “.
