No, it is not correct and it is a major sin.

Some of my relatives say that a nawafil fast will not be valid if we skipped any sunnah prayer of the day we were fasting. Is it correct? And is it okay to do Sajda once in a while after fardh salah, just like that, thanking Allah for everything?

This is not true! They must present proof for what they are saying. As for the sajdah after salah, you don’t do this, unless for gratitude over a favor or a blessing that is not reoccurring.

While washing clothes is it necessary to wash it 3 times with clean water?? and please let us know about the sunnah way of washing clothes..
