ANSWER: This is permissible while being careful of what they say as they usually depend on positive thoughts and energy and ignore tawheed and Allah’s influence over things and that nothing can happen without His will.

There is Muslim family in need of money as the sole bread winner needs to get a surgery done. Is it okay to give them from our zakat even if they do not offer salah? Is this permissible?

ANSWER: If they are Muslims, poor and needy, you can give them the zakat. If they are known kafir, you can’t give them zakat.

Are using birthstones haram? Like doing a project at school about it for art class, in the sense of making the stone out of clay to represnt you and say that its the month you were born, or is this following the disbelievers?

ANSWER: The sunnah is to drink while sitting but it is not prohibited to drink while standing.

In India jewelry showrooms have investment schemes, where one pays a fixed monthly amount to the store & since gold rate fluctuates every day, the day we make the payment, that day’s rate is recorded and after 12 months the average rate is calculated of the gold per gram and the we can purchase the gold for the entire value we have invested, at the average rate.Is this a halal?

Fard prayers or any prayers if I forget to recite sura after Fatiha what do I do?

ANSWER: No problem as it is not mandatory to recite a surah after Fatiha.

Is running wet fingers between fingers and toes obligatory in wudhu? I have an impression that if I don’t do this, the water doesn’t get in those areas (which would render the wudhu invalid).

ANSWER: This is a recommended sunnah. If one ensures that the area is washed without inserting his fingers, this is sufficient.

Is it essential to learn arabic language in this age , where fitnah is prevalent and many innovators are making us doubt about the Sunnah ? Because if we do not learn arabic , understanding the Quran and Sunnah is difficult. But the problem is the arabic language is difficult, is it true!

ANSWER: It is highly recommended to learn Arabic in order to understand Islam better. Learning something new is always difficult.

v have our grandfather property which my cousins r going to sell, no single son of my grandfather is alive they are all expired, myfather is one fm them, he got only daughters withno son. How will be my fathers share from his father will get divided between us, v all r married daughters,as per indian sheikh our counsins will have some share?Plz guide how to distribute my dad’s share

ANSWER: If your grandfather died, only his living sons and daughters would inherit him. Once they themselves die, their children would take their father’s or mother’s share. You will inherit 2/3rd of your father’s share and the rest would go to the next of kin and those are the paternal cousins.
