ANSWER: If you’re capable of opening a house for your wife and ready to take up the financial responsibility then you should go ahead and get married even if without your parents approval as men don’t need approval or consent from anyone. However it’s best to convince them with diplomacy and respect.

What does it mean, ‘When the people see the wrongdoer and they do not take him by the hand, then soon Allah shall envelope you in a punishment from him.'”? There are more hadith .. by hand, by mouth and by heart. Please advise.

Sheikh, my uncle is saying that if we take the interest based loan then government will provide some subsidies which will compensate the interest amount and it will not be haram as government subsidy will be enough for paying interest amount, which I feel is haram.. So guide me regarding this in the light of quran and sunnah.

Sheikh I want to know can a woman travel to attend the marriage feast of her friend while no Mehram is Available to accompany her.

ANSWER: This is not permissible. Prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam said that a woman who believes in Allah and the day of judgment must not travel without her male mahram.

Mostly it is believed that after the death of wife, she becomes na-mahram to his husband. So can a husband perform her Ghusl…? Ans for vice versa also plz

ANSWER: What you have mentioned is absolutely false. They don’t become non mahram to each other after death! There’s no problem in giving ghusl to your dead spouse.

shaykh i was reading tib e nabwi(the prophetic medicine) by imam ibn qayyim and there i found in the book a chapter which is based on healing wounds by taweez….so can we heal/treament our diseases by taweez?another question is can we use amulets which has quranic verses in it?

Shaikh, I messaged you the other day about joining Christmas with a non Muslim family (my family) and was wondering if it is permissible to join them on thanksgiving instead because it is not a religious holiday. How about New Years?

ANSWER: It is not permissible to join them in any of these celebrations or gatherings. Though it is not a religious festival, it is part of their customs and tradition which Muslims are ordered to refrain from.
