my question is.every time I urinate after I finish and clean myself,there is still some liquid which comes out.this will still happen even if I took time (like 5 mins)urinating.this happens everytime and I am surprised whether it s urine or something else.so sheikh please help what should I do.because I’m afraid this might nullify my Salah…thanks sheikh.

ANSWER: After you have washed off, you should sprinkle some water on your underwear and should tell yourself whenever you get the feeling that you have leaked something, that this is the sprinkled water on your underwear. You MUST NOT check your private part after this as this would open the door for being OCD.

ANSWER: Yes, you should send the salutations on the Prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam when you hear his name.

Shaikh what is the ruling on raising hands for dua in jumuah khutbah. Are we supposed to raise our hands during istighfar in between the two khutbahs and the dua made by imam at the end of second khutbah. Kindly explain.

ANSWER: One should not raise one’s hands when making duaa during the Friday khutbah except in the case the Imam makes Duaa for rain.

If I am praying in Jama’ah in the Masjid and I notice a clear spot in the row in front, can I move there whilst praying? What about if I have to walk in front of another person praying to get there?

ANSWER: If it is in front of you, walk to it. But if it is in front of someone else, don’t do that as this is his responsibility and you may walk there and half way he moves forward.

I have a cat, and we buy her cat food from the store. Her food is meat from animals that aren’t slaughtered according to Islamic Law BUT we don’t buy her pork. My question is, if I touch her food to serve her or touch her mouth or any area where her food has been, would I have to change my clothes or reperform wudu?

My query is that usually my periods last 5 days. This time, on the fifth day of my cycle, i performed ghusl and thought i was clean. The same day we had intercourse and there was blood,pure red blood which continued until the next day which made the period 6 days. What should i do in this case ? Do we need to pay any expiation or give charity ?

ANSWER: If you saw your purity and performed ghusul accordingly, there is nothing on you. But if you didn’t see your purity and performed ghusul hastily, you are sinful and must give expiation.

I have been reciting my adkhar for a year but I have been reciting them in english. When I recite in Arabic, I can’t focus on the meaning and have khushoo.

ANSWER: If you know how to recite the adkhar in Arabic, you cannot recite those in any other language.

Sheikh the imam of our masjid has the aqeedah regarding taqdeer that ALLAH sends the person to hell and heaven and not his deeds,it was pre written that the person would go to hell or heaven so he would go to hell or heaven according to his written taqdeer and not by his deeds.He has differed from the belief of Ahlus sunnah wal jamaah regarding taqdeer. Is prayer valid behind such a person?
