ANSWER: It should be said after finishing it.

I am from India, in my country most of the women make holes in their ears to wear earrings. Some Islamic scholars here says piercing in any part of the body is Haram. If you do so you are considering that Allah missed to create holes in ears but Allah created human in a beautiful way by nature. Ple clarify if piercing ears of women for earrings is Haram or not?

ANSWER: This is not true. Women can pierce the ears but they must hide their ear rings before going out and in front of non mahram men.

I have been in a haram relationship for 3 years. But the problem now is he is not letting me get out of it.i have tried telling him that all this is not good, when I did he tells he will tell to my family. Sheikh if a person prays asr or another prayer in it’s time of necessity without a need or excuse, so for eg, half an hour or 20 mins before maghrib, I have heard this is not permissible but is this a major or minor sin or just makrooh?

ANSWER: It’s makrooh if done without a valid reason.

Sheikh, I have this habit of gargling after coming out of the washroom. I feel that I have breathed foul smelling air while relieving myself so I should gargle my mouth before saying the name of Allah (SWT). Is it necessary or am I doing wrong. Please advise. Jazak Allah. May Allah reward you because you have really helped me alot.

ANSWER: This is satan messing up with your mind. Such gargling is an innovation. Simply come out like millions of people do everyday and ignore such waswas.

Is it permissible to say the dua آيِبُونَ تَائِبُونَ عَابِدُونَ لِرَبِّنَا حَامِدُونَ after returning home from anywhere? Or is it only applicable when you return from travelling?

Sheikh, a lot of times I refrain from doing deeds because of fear of people, like I want to make dua in final tashahud and I take long time time people start looking at me and I stop and say Salam. Is it shirk?

ANSWER: This is not normal as one must not care what people think of him if he is doing what he is doing for the sake of Allah. This is why some scholars said: “Doing something to show off to people is riya’a. Leaving something mandatory for the fear of people talking is shirk!”

Is it mandatory upon me to reply to salam loudly so that the opposite person can hear??
