Am I sinful if my parents watch TV and listen to radio where there are music and I don’t pay attention to it and I don’t watch TV. If yes what should I do ?

ANSWER: You are not sinful for their sins if you are not sharing it with them. However, you must advise them and remind them of Allah.

Saying ayujubillah & Bismillah before starting salat : Is it permissible to recite أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيم Before starting Salaah? Or is this an innovation?

ANSWER: This is an innovation before prayers.

Is this true? Du’a for protection against harmful insects and creatures اعوذ بكلمات الله التامات من شرما خلق ط I seek protect in the excellent words of Allah from the injuries cause by His creation Allah will grant security to the person who recites the above du’a thrice in the morning and evening. It is very effective for protection against harmful insects and creatures.

ANSWER: The hadeeth is authentic and the protection is granted with the grace of Allah until Allah wills otherwise or unless the person didn’t say it attentively.

Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said,” whoever recites this durud then my intercession will be wajib for him” اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ، وَأَنْزِلْهُ الْمَقْعَدَ الْمُقَرَّبَ عِنْدَكَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ . [Musnad Ahmad:16928]

ANSWER: She is obliged to cover her whole body including her hair from non mahram men as ordered in the Quran and in the authentic hadeeths.

Should I pray all four ralah of sunnah at once (with one salam) or should I pray 2 by 2? If I do both, is it permissible?

Does only all the redness in the sky have to disappear for Isha time? In high latitude areas, looking outside the sky’s dark with stars visible but north of the sky isn’t (has lightness & appears light blue). Masjid has Isha time about 1 hour after Maghrib (earlier than Um al Qura) but sky appears as described & ISNA is later than UaQ & MWL is about 2 hours later – any advise on which to follow?

ANSWER: Her husband is sinful for backbiting his wife and she must advise him to act like a man and stop backbiting her in front of others. She must be tactful in her approach and become the one he seeks his tranquility in, in order to put a stop to this.

My father is tailor and a lot of work is done at home and we are asked to not to step on work as allah made it a way for us to earn rizq Is it wrong? Is it same with touching food /packets of food / books with feet ?
