Is tafsir ibn kathir authentic? I’ve been trying to understand each ayah with this tafsir for a long time & it seems the tafsir is way toooo long for each ayah & the explanations are quite repetitive. I read Quran in an app named “Al Quran (tafsir & by word)”

ANSWER: It is a reliable tafseer but laymen would probably find it difficult to understand sometimes. Try to get a copy of tafseer As’sidi which is much easier and friendly.

I am from India. Suffering from a sihr for over 6 years now. Did many islamic treatment but in vain. So everyone told us that this is done by a hindu. so, it can only be removed by them. So, i unwittingly went to the hindu astrologer and now i am remorseful just for approaching them. ANSWER: What you had done nullifies your Islam. Repent to Allah and be remorseful and ask Him for forgiveness. What is Ruqyah and how one should do it?

One scholar of my country said that, “The sin of leaving one fard prayer intentionally is equivalent of eating 1000 ounces pork meat. ” Does he have any right to say such things, is it authentic? Will i be sinful if i quote his words to others?

If i jump in river stay under it for 10 sec, no rubbing, no soap, then come out, is this a ghusl? And accepted?

ANSWER: If you had the intention for ghusl and you rinsed your nose and mouth then no problem, this would be counted as ghusl.

Sheikh, in the past, I used to ride the local public transportation(Buses, subway) without paying and I would like to now pay them back an estimate of what I have wrongfully consumed. The problem is I’m not sure how to pay them back, as there isn’t anywhere I could find on their website on how to do so, what should I do in this case.

ANSWER: Yes, this is possible if Allah wills it, this is in Allah’s hands. Have the best hope in Allah as Allah is as His servant thinks of Him.

In my division there’s 2 type of program we work, Program with riba source of money and with no riba in the source of money. I work in the NO RIBA source of money but in the end I must watch all the program with permissible indicator (time, participant, achievement). what our company do is Halal, but am I sinfull because there’s my co worker in my division who doing riba?
