The Masjid in our Community (Toronto, Canada) was established in 1999 and since then its been very active masjid however run out of space on Fridays but not during regular five time prayers. Now Masjid management wants to sell masjid to buy a bigger space 1KM away. Old Masjid will be sold to City for Metro. Is it permissible in sharia to sell.

ANSWER: This is up to the evaluation of the muslim judge. Generally speaking, it is permissible to sell the masjid and buy with that a bigger masjid that would serve the community better.

ANSWER: The translation is not the Quran and hence neither the reward nor the benefits are the same as reading the Arabic Quran.

When everyone is sitting and eating if husband needs water is it responsibility of wife to get up and get it to him or if he himself takes water is there any problm like wife disrespects her husband like that.what if wife didnt take water n gve to him is it permissible in islm? Is it a sin?

ANSWER: When an imam is reciting you should listen and reciting sana is from the sunnah and not mandatory.

My son’s exam is going.All his friends copy from each others and get good grades while he refuses to do that and says it’s cheating.Isnt this too extreme?Doesnt he need good grades to get a good life?And what if he fails?Give an advice for him.
