My zakat is due. I was wondering who to give to. This is my first zakat. I have a maid whose husband cant find work. They have 2 kids. And they have loans. Can i give them my zakat?

ANSWER: Zakat is given to a poor or needy Muslim in the form of cash. If your maid is classified as poor or needy, you can give them from your zakat, however, you must not assist them with paying any interest based loans.

Can v pray tahajjud after praying witr in masjid with imaam?

ANSWER: No problem. However you must not repeat Witr after your tahajjud as there’s only one witr per night.

Ustadh I didn’t get any specific proof of doing sujood on table in that link you gave.i am asking this question with proof because my grand mother says that we should show her proof in the light of shareeah that it is not permitted to do sujood on table.

My mother cannot fast due her age and healt so i give fidyah. i give uncooked meat to the mosque they cook it and then used it for iftar. there a lot of people who are miskien but there are also people who are not miskien and eat there is this allowed. i dont have any track of who eats of it not.

ANSWER: Nothing is specified for suhur time, but for iftar, the authentic Duaa is: “thahaba atham’u wabtallatil ‘orok wa thabata ala’jro in sha Allah”. This is said after breaking your fast.

My 13 yr old son who’s matured last month was sick (fever) and couldn’t fast for first two days of Ramadan what is the kaffara for him. Does he has to make up his fast after Ramadan and also give kaffara for that missed fast?

My elder son is 12 years old.Alhumdulillah he is very intelligent and understands things very easily. I have the app muslim pro the magrib athan is 8:49pm. The mosque in my citiy use magrib 8:53pm. I think the time frome my app is more right. In a other city the mosque use also the app for the time of prayer. My question now, what time can i break my fast and pray magrib? the 3 situations: I am at home, I hame in the mosque in my city, i am in mosque in the other city. Can i eat 8:49pm?
