Sir…can I do the ruqaya on water( jug or bottle of water) and make my mother and brother drink from it…how shall I tell them it’s ruqaya water and not exempt from 70000 going to Jannah without accounts…they didn’t ask me do ruqaya though

YA SALAAM – is one of the name of ALLAH (The source of peace)- meaning *One who recites this name 160 times to a sick person will regain health. I just want to ask if this dua is authentic?

Sir I have filled form for Hajj 2018 with my mother in law.as I m her mahram. My wife’s sister also wants to perform Hajj. Is she allowed to come with us since her mother is also coming as her father is no more and she no brother nor she is married

ANSWER: She cannot travel with you both as she needs a male mahram to accompany her and you are not her mahram.

Is it obligatory to make niyah (intention) everyday to observe fasting in Ramadan? Or, my niyah before the begining of Ramadan for observing fast in the whole month seeking pleasure and forgiveness of Allah SWT is sufficient?

ANSWER: The first niyyah for the first day is sufficient for the whole month as long as you didn’t break any day in the middle by traveling or falling sick. You must not say the Niyyah with your mouth.

My aunty and her husband who are poor want help financially to make them a house. The problem is because these things take time to sort out such as purchasing land and papers work, I want to know although my zakah is due 17th of Ramadan, can I give them my zakah now but they hold on to my money until everything gets sort which may take several months, will that be ok?

ANSWER: Giving zakah money for this purpose is not permissible. Buying or building a house is not something poor and needy people do! You should give your zakah money on time to the poor and needy Muslims in cash in hand.
