A mahram has to be present when the girl and the boy are talking before their marriage but is it important that the mahram of the girl listens to their conversation?

ANSWER: Of course! A girl and boy must not have any communication with each other other than the initial interview conducted by the girl’s father (wali) as there are no strings attached and they are still non-mahrams to one another!

Is it permissible in Islam to do nikah in case boy is in Saudi Arabia and girl in India. Can we do the nikah in that case if boy is not present but he is willing or is it necessary for both to be present?
