Is it compulsory to pray the sunnah of fajr prayer?

ANSWER: This is not compulsory. However, this is highly recommended as Prophet salla Allahu Alaihi wa Sallam said the 2 rakahs before fajr are better than the whole world and what it contains.

Between performing ablution three times per each body part and one time, which method do I get more rewards?

ANSWER: This is upto you. You will be rewarded for any option you choose as all of this was done by the Prophet salla allahu alaihi wa sallam.

As a student of knowledge, I sometimes need to write Ayat of the Quran in my notes. Reading the Quran is not permissible when Junub, but what about writing them or typing them on my laptop?

ANSWER: This is also not permissible. One must respect the Quran and have his ghusul first.

A few weeks ago I used nail buffers(both sides) my nails are not shiny anymore, but are still smooth (indicating the effects of it still hasn’t worn off). My question is: do nail buffers prevent water from reaching the nails? If so, will prayers not be accepted? What should I do now since there is no way to reverse it? (nail buffers work by chemical reactions) thank you for your time.

Since i live in a non Muslim country (Sri Lanka, has 75%-Buddists,11%-Hindus and 10%-Muslims) is it “OK” to participate if the Non Muslims “INVITE” me for food? and should i request them PLEASE use HALAL Chicken or Beef, or say nothing and participate whilst not consuming any of the Non-HALAL items? ANSWER: It is not permissible for a muslim to attend non muslim religious functions or their marriages and you must not go to eat at their place if you know they would serve haram food or drinks or if there’s free mixing there.

We are starting catering services for parties.Can we deliver food at birthdays, anniversaries,festivals like christmas,diwali,etc or muslim bidat festival like muharram, meelad, etc. Can general food like Dinner(main course with dessert) be sent there ? We also do baking. Can cakes be sent at birthdays and marriage anniversaries and shop/business anniversaries.

Is it permissible to make dua in sujood in our own language? Or only in Arabic

ANSWER: You can make dua in your Salah, both fard and voluntary, in sujood and in the last tashahud, before making salam and in your own language, providing you don’t know how to make that particular dua in Arabic.

ANSWER: The reward is the same for everyone. One sacrifice is for the entire family living under one roof and they can include their deceased parents or grandparents in it as well. You cannot include anyone else.
